Jackson's 3rd Birthday!

Well its official after the month long celebration Jackson is 3 years old!! My how time has flown by since that precious 5 pound 15 ounce baby boy was born!  Well the day started off wonderfully with lots of Happy Birthday phone calls for Jackson!!!  And I want to say thank you to everyone for calling, texting, facebooking, sending gifts etc. to wish Jackson a happy birthday he thought that was so cool that everyone was calling just for him!!! I am very thankful I was able to spend the day with Jackson we had a great day!!  We had lunch with Daddy, played outside of course and ended the night going to the Zoo for their Dino Night.  First we went and saw the dinosaur exhibit and Jackson was just amazed at so life like they were as were Ryan and I!!  He rode rollercoasters, trains, flying bananas and fed numerous animals!! It was so neat to see what a big boy he has become riding most of the rides all by himself!! We ended the night by all three of us riding the carousel together which was fun and Ryan and I both were wondering the last time we actually rode the carousel and decided it had to be a VERY long time ago!!!  Anyway enjoy the pictures from the zoo and a Very Happy Birthday to our sweet Jackson!!!!

Jackson wanted to get closer to see this dinosaur

Jackson wasn't he sure he liked the 78mph Hurricane force winds that they were experiencing

Jackson's Birthday Celebration at School!

It has really been a month long celebration for Jackson's 3rd Birthday, which of course is right up Jackson's alley since he is quite the party animal!!  Today Jackson's class had a birthday celebration for him at school during snack time, which consisted of Jackson wearing a cute birthday hat, everyone singing Happy Birthday to Jackson and of course an enormous cookie cake which all the kids enjoyed.  And I sure am glad I left after the cake to miss the giant sugar rush that all the kids had!  It was a fun celebration and I am glad I was able to be a part of it!!

Everyone awaiting the cake

Happy Birthday Jackson!

Jackson's 3rd Birthday Party!

Jackson's 3rd Birthday party was a Pirate Theme (at Jackson's request) at My Gym Children's fitness center on Sunday March 20th at 2:30pm.  Jackson has been going to My Gym since he was 10 months old and absolutely loves it!! So we thought this was a great place to celebrate Jackson's 3rd birthday!! Jackson is a bit of a social butterfly as you all know, so naturally he had lots of friends come to his birthday party! He had friends from school as well as his friends that he plays with on a regular basis and some of Mommy and Daddy's friends children too!!  It was truly the most fabulous place to have a birthday party and the staff did an amazing job keeping the children busy!! Since it was a pirate theme this mom worked very hard to make sure everything was Piratey for our little pirate!!  The whole place was decked out in pirate decorations along with Pirate food, Pirate Music, Pirate Puzzle Favors, Pirate Hats, Eye Patches and Beads, a Pirate Cake as well as Pirate activities which consisted of Walking the Plank, The Pirate Ship ride and of course what party isn't complete without a bounce house!!!  Jackson had the best time and I am excited to share the pictures with everyone!!! Now the question is how are these parents going to top this party next year??!!  At least I have a year to think about it!!!

Jackson's First Trip to Disney World

Jackson's first trip to Disney World was a magical one! We had been pumping him up about it for weeks telling him we were going to Mickey's house for his birthday!!! So the night before he barely slept and when I walked in his room at 6:15 in the morning he was bright eyed and bushy tailed saying "We are going to Mickey's house today mommy!" So off we went headed east on I-4 to Orlando.  We arrived at 8:30am at Mickey's House where we joined our good friends Shea, Nate and Gracie! It was so incredible to see Jacksons sweet face as we entered the magic kingdom he had a look of just awe and amazement!!! Jackson and Gracie had an absolute blast riding all the rides from It's a Small World to Dumbo to Snow White you name it!! And of course we had to ride Pirates of the Caribbean for this little pirate who thought that was awesome!!! And we even saw the parade go down main street which was quite exciting!! But Jackson's two favorite rides were Peter Pan and Winnie the Pooh by far!!!  These two children went non stop from 6:15am to 7pm without even an eye closing or a major meltdown which was awesome!!!  I think they were running on pure adrenaline and maybe a little sugar!!  Although there was a little protest from the kids, our magical day had to come to an end and even though we wanted to stay to see the fireworks these exhausted parents thought it was a good idea to leave while everyone was still in good spirits!! Enjoy the pictures it was an amazing trip and one we will do every year to celebrate Jackson and Gracie's birthdays!!!
