The Lossius Family: July 2012

Our trip to the Keys this year was amazing for many reasons although the main reason was that this year Ryan was able to go with us and we were able to enjoy him for an entire week straight with no work interruptions!!! Yay!!!! We started our trip Saturday July 21st and headed to Hawk's Cay for a couple days where we enjoyed relaxing by the pool and Jackson was able to "pet" the dolphins during the dockside dolphin program at Hawk's Cay!!! Then we headed south to Mimi and Pop's house in the Keys for some fun in the sun, snorkeling (although as Jackson pronounces it norkeling) and of course Mini Season 2012 where the lovely Buckland Family came down to join us for what is becoming our annual tradition!!!! We had the best time!!! The weather was perfect and the Bowman, Buckland, and Lossius team pulled off another fabulous lobster season!!!! The only thing missing was Aunt Lauren and Uncle Rob but hopefully we can all be together next year!!! And we are so proud of Ryan for spearing his 1st grouper he did awesome and we were thrilled for him!!!! It was a truly wonderful week, full of awesome new memories and hilarious stories to go with them, that none of us wanted to end!!!! But I guess we will just have to look forward to next year when Jackson will count for 6 more lobster since we have a year to teach him how to use a tickle stick and net and "norkel" for more than 5 minutes at a time and a new little baby to add to our team!!! Michael caught a baby lobster and we let Jackson play with it for a little while to keep him occupied in the boat! We threw it back of course shortly after so it could grow big and Jackson cried!!
