We will miss those Elves!!

We had so much fun this year with Pinocchio and Gracie and we sure are sad to see them go!!!  Even Addison was excited and pointed to them when she saw them each morning!!!  Enjoy a couple pictures of all the fun our elves had!!! See you next year Pinocchio and Gracie!!!!!!

Polar Express and Our Gingerbread House!!

Jackson's last day of school was Friday and the theme was The Polar Express!! So all the kids were allowed to wear their pajamas to school!!!  It was such so cute and so fun and Addison and I were happy to help out!!!  The kids drank hot chocolate and watched polar express and we decorated candy cane reindeer and their parting gift was a bell with a tag Do you Believe!!? It was adorable and a fun time hanging out with Jackson and his friends!!

When we got home Jackson and I decided to decorate our gingerbread house which is becoming our annual tradition (this is our 4th year!) and a great one at that!!!  My very kind Boss Joan had given Jackson a gingerbread house as a gift and it was not a pre-built one so I was a little leary after my difficult time building the Halloween Haunted house one but this one turned out to be a piece of cake!!  I will be buying the Benton's kids brand from now on!!!!  We had a blast and Jackson wanted our house to look exactly like the box which I think it was close!!!  Addison was content playing in the tupperware cabinet the whole time and had fun doing that!! And we bribed her with tastes of icing to keep her happy!! What a lovely afternoon we had together!!!!  Enjoy!!!

Addison's 1st Steps!!!

Well Addison took her 1st actual step last Sunday but I managed to capture it on video Friday!!!  It was SO cute!!! And since then she has taken 9 steps across Jackson's room and she is just SO proud of herself!!!!  Everytime we clap and cheer for her she claps along with us!!! I can't believe our sweet little girl is starting to walk or run soon if she is anything like her brother!!!  She is growing up SO fast!!!  Enjoy the video it is just precious!!!!

Christmas Pajama's!!

Addison and Jackson have been wearing their matching Santa pajamas which they look just too cute in for weeks now thank you to my good friend Kim who bought them as a gift after Addison was born!!  So of course we had to take some pictures by the tree!!!  I just love this time of year!!!  It's just so much fun!!!!!  It truly is the most wonderful time of year!! This week has been ALL about Santa!!!  Jackson received a cute message from Santa via email and and when the Naughty and Nice meter registered "NICE" for Jackson he was so surprised and excited he screamed "YAY!!! Mom can you believe it I am on the Nice list!!!!!" It was absolutely priceless!!!  Then Ryan came home and he told him he was on the nice list too however then he followed it up with I was on the bottom of the nice list dad but I made the nice list!!!! Then when I asked Jackson why he thought he was on the bottom of the nice list he said "I just wanted to make you laugh mom I like when you laugh!!  Oh and Ive been in time out a lot!!"  Hilarious and So sweet that boy is!!  Here is the link to watch Santa's video to Jackson!!!

Then Monday Jackson, Addison and I headed to the international mall to see Santa!! We rushed there right after school hoping to beat the rush but instead we waited over an hour since Santa had to take a 30 minute break!!!  But luckily Jackson entertained Addison by throwing the fake snow all over!!  So when we managed to finally see Santa all was good!!  Jackson was talking Santa's ear off with a list a mile long and I kept Addison facing me until they were ready and then sat her on Jolly Old St. Nick's lap!!!  All went well until she turned to look at who was holding her and saw the big man in the red suit!!!!  She turned around looked at me and burst into tears!!!  Good news pictures were done at that point and we were on our Merry way!!!!  Although Jackson stopped to take a picture with the Ice Princess and Addison sat on her lap too and Addison proceeded to stare at Santa like she was curious but wanted to keep her distance!!!  I would say we had a successful trip to see Santa wouldn't you!!!

4 Days until Christmas!!!!

Winter Wonderland at the Zoo!!!

Last weekend we had a fun filled and very busy weekend with our trip to Disney Friday night and then our night at the Zoo Winter Wonderland event Saturday night!!!  We met our friends Julie and Bill and their sweet children for a night of zoo fun!!!  It was Addison's first night event and she was fantastic she sat in the stroller the whole night and barely made a peep!! I think she enjoyed seeing all the beautiful lights and Addison always enjoys people watching!!!  All the kids just loved the snow and seeing the animals at night!!  We saw giraffe's, hippo's, penguins and we ended the night by seeing the reindeer!!   A major highlight of the night was that all the kids enjoyed the hurricane simulator!!  They had a blast in that thing as you can see from the pictures!!!! And another big hit was touching the stingrays!!!  It was a great night for all!!!  And as Julie says we were making memories y'all!!!

Addison is 11 Months Old!!

How is it possible that Addison is 11 months old already!?? Wasn't it just yesterday that it was January and this sweet little girl was born!!! I still have NO idea where this year went but I do know it has been a fantastic one!!!  Addison is so so happy pretty much all the time!!! I mean even though she has a little cold she is still laughing and keeping up with her big brother!!!  She is playing peek a boo by doing it herself to us, she is pointing at everything and the biggest event of the weekend was she took two steps Sunday night!!!!  We were so happy and screamed so loud she fell right over and I could not get a video of it but I have the mental picture forever!!!  She was SO proud of herself and we were all cheering her on!!!!!  She also gives kisses when you ask her for one and is so so sweet when she leans in to give one!!!  And when we sing "If you are happy and you know it" she claps!! And when asked where her or anyone's nose is she even points to it!!  When we saw Dr. Anton today he said "Let me peek in your nose Addison" and she pointed to it!!  He said "I see a lot of babies her age and I don't know any that know where their nose is I think she is very smart I can tell!!" It was a very nice compliment and of course we think both our children are geniuses!!!  :-) I feel like she is growing up way too fast!!!  She is into everything but it so fun to see her thought process except when she dumps Haley's water bowl constantly we already know that thought process!!  :-)  Addison tries all kinds of new foods she even likes fish!!!  She is the polar opposite of Jackson in that regard!!  And she has loved that our tree is up and has only tried to grab one ornament off so far!!!! Enjoy the pictures it was a crazy photo shoot trying to get both children to smile and cooperate but it was fun doing a few by the tree!!! Next up our sweet girl will be turning 1!!!!!!
