The Karate Kid!!!!

Jackson started Karate last week and is loving it!!!  He is doing great in class and listening so well to his instructor!!!  I love it because they teach him all about discipline and respect while getting his energy out!!!  They make them run, do jumping jacks and push ups and of course karate kicks and punches which we have instructed Jackson are ONLY to be done in class!!  We will see how that goes!!  And on his first try he kicked the board in half!!  He was all excited about it as was I!!  He is having a blast and loves that a few of his friends from school are in his class too!!!  Here are a few pictures of our little karate kid!!

No More Training Wheels!!

Ryan decided it was time to take the training wheels off Jackson's bike and Jackson agreed!!  So off they came and Jackson did GREAT!!!  It helps that the bike is a little small for him now which is great for learning and there is enough time to practice before we get him a bigger bike for his birthday!!  But Jackson has great balance so he was a natural without the training wheels!!!  And we have gone around the neighborhood numerous times and have only had a few minor falls and only ran into a few cars!! Oops!!  Anyway we are SO proud of our Jackson and wanted to share his HUGE accomplishment!!!!  What a big boy he is getting to be!!! Enjoy!!!!

Our two sweet little Valentine's!!!!!

What a wonderfully sweet Valentines Day we had with our two little Valentine's!!!!! Jackson was SO excited for Valentines Day he had been talking about it all week!!!  He jumped out of bed saw the heart messages I put all over his door and ran into our room saying Happy Valentines Day Mom, Dad and Baby Addison I love you!! Such a sweet boy!!  Then Jackson opened his gifts from us which were a new book he has been asking for and a new Wii game!! Then we rushed off to school for his Valentine's party which he was all pumped up for!! Jackson and I had so much fun making Valentine bags for the party with spiderman Valentine's and playdough for all his friends!!!  And of course now that I am back to taking Jackson to school everyday you know he is always late again!!  It is definitely a challenge to get two kids and myself ready and out the door every morning and Ryan is even a HUGE help and its still challenging.  Hopefully we will get the hang of it soon and start being on time haha who am I kidding the chances of that happening by the end of the school year are slim to none!!  And our little Addison was a little sweetheart all day as always and we ALL enjoyed spending her 1st Valentine's Day with her!!  And Ryan was SO sweet and brought beautiful flowers home and we enjoyed a nice dinner at home!!  It was a great day and we are so lucky to have two wonderful little Valentine's to spend it with!!!

Happy 1 Month Birthday Addison!!!!

I cannot believe Addison is a month old already!!  Time is flying by!!!  It has been a crazy month but the most wonderful one!!!!!!  Addison went to her 1 month appointment on Thursday and boy was that a little hectic!!  Jackson was sick so we brought him in as well and I have to say its a good thing Ryan had the week off and went with us because I don't think I could have done it by myself!!  Ryan sat in the newborn room with Addison and I sat in the sick room with Jackson!!  Addison did great on her check up!!!!  She now weighs 7 pounds 2 ounces and is 19.75 inches long!!  She is now in the 7th percentile in weight!!!  Up from 6% at birth!!!  And she is eating and sleeping like a champ!!!!  Jackson on the other hand has a sinus infection but is still in great spirits and still his lovable happy self!!!  We are settling into our routine nicely and have enjoyed all our visitors to see our sweet Addison and to play with Jackson!!!!  We are all loving our little Addison and just cannot get enough of her!!!!  Happy 1 month Birthday Addison we love you SO much!!!!
