Happy Memorial Day Weekend!!

We had a great Memorial Day weekend full of fun activities and friends!! When I asked Jackson what his favorite part was he said The Beach of course mom!! Jackson loves the beach!!!  Then came Sunday night where we went to the Pincus's for fun BBQ and swimming and again we all had a blast!!!! To which Jackson then told me it was another favorite part of the weekend!! And Monday Ryan had to work unfortunately so I took the kids to the mall to get out of our house and then came back and swam in the pool until the storms rolled in!!  Such a nice weekend!!  Love the 3 day ones!!  It makes me look forward to summer break that much more!!! 6 MORE DAYS!!!

Family Beach Day and Addison's 1st time at the beach!

What a great way to kick off Memorial Day weekend!!  Saturday we went to the beach with the Pincus family!!  It was so much fun!!!  We love the beach however it is quite the production to go so we don't go as often as we would like! But now that we have it down maybe we can go more often!!  The kids all had a blast in the water and sand and sun and played so nicely together!!  Jackson went "surfing" aka boogie boarding! I know Pop would definitely not agree but he had fun nonetheless!  Addison was a HUGE fan of the sand she played in it and even ate some YUCK!  She was so cute just playing and walking around exploring!! She wasn't a huge fan of the water but that was ok with us she still managed to have a blast! Then we took a lunch break and went to The Palm Pavilion Restaurant and it was delicious!!  We were at the beach for 5 hours and Addison NEVER napped it was all too exciting and new! She fell asleep as soon as we put her in the stroller to leave but then woke up when I had to hose all the sand off and didn't fall back asleep until we pulled into our driveway! Figures! Jackson fell asleep on the drive home which he never does anymore he was exhausted! SO MUCH FUN and we will definitely be going back again soon!!!!  Thanks Pincus family for a fun-filled family beach day!!!

 Happy Memorial Day Weekend!!!!!

Summertime is upon us!!

Love that it is almost summer!!  We had a great day with friends on Saturday in Clearwater Beach!  Jackson and Addison enjoyed playing with their friends Ellie and Addie!!  Jackson was a fish and only got out of the pool to fish off the dock!!  And Addison had fun exploring but wanted nothing to do with the pool which we were ok with! We had a lovely barbecue dinner outside and the big kids swam until 7:30!!  Needless to say Addison fell asleep on the way home and they both slept extremely well!  There is exhaustion and then their is sun and pool time exhaustion gotta love it!!! 

Then Sunday rolled around and we had family fun day in our pool!!  Love these beautiful sunny days!!  Previously Addison has wanted nothing to do with the pool.  Jackson and Ryan could go in and she just watched! Those days are now over! As soon as I got in she walked right over and jumped in which was so so cute however scary at the same time! I gave her to Ryan and immediately called an ISR instructor and we start swimming lessons on Monday!!  Now that we have a pool we want to be as safe as possible!!!  After we got that squared a way we all had a great time in the pool, had pop-e-cles as Addison says and enjoyed a lovely dinner outside!!  Love the almost summer nights with our little family!!!

Jackson 6 Year and Addison 15 Month Check ups!

We figured we would get both Jackson 6 year and Addison 15 month well check ups done at the same time.  So last Friday we headed to the doctor to make sure both Jackson and Addison were right on track which thankfully they are!!!  Addison had to get a shot which of course I think Jackson was thrilled it wasn't him and Addison took it like a champ! She didn't even wince or shed a tear!!  It was a great visit for both our children!!! Here are their stats!

Camp Gladiator!

Friday was Mother and Son night at Jackson's school! The theme was Camp Gladiator! First we went to dinner just the two of us at Jackson's favorite restaurant The Grille! We had a great time just talking and laughing! Then we went to the school to participate in the events! It had rained all day so part of the exercises were inside and part were outside! We played freeze tag, did relay races and even had to do squats and push ups!  Jackson was ALL about it and wanted to win!!! No surprise there! We had a blast!!  It was so fun spending time with my sweet boy!! And thank you to Ryan for having a father daughter night with Addison!!!  What a fun way to kick off the weekend!!!

Last weeks shenanigans in review!

We had a busy week last week but we still managed to have fun!!  Jackson had a great week at school and we had a park playdate with friends!!  It was the first time I took both kids to the park together by myself with Addison walking/running!!  It was exhausting to say the least!!  Addison went one way and Jackson went the other! Hence why there aren't any park pictures there was no time for that!!!  But they both had a blast which is really all that counts!!  And Addison was busy going to My Gym, the library for story time and just her usual little self getting into trouble this week!!  She is into everything these days!!  Its like she is a little tornado going from room to room making mess after mess!!  Funny to watch until you realize you have already cleaned up at least 4 messes and it only 9am!!! Addison and Jackson get along so well until Addison starts hitting jackson for no reason!!  So she has become familiar with time out in her crib!! And school is winding down for Jackson thank goodness looking forward to a calm relaxing summer!!!!  Enjoy our pictures that I tried to catch from our busy week even though Jackson wasn't wanting to participate in my photo shoots this week!!!
