My new Obsession!!!

We have had this armoire for years like 10 years and we just dealt with it mainly because some friends gave it to us and we were deciding whether to get new furniture or not and we never made a decision on what to do so it just sat there!  SO I kept hearing people talk about this Annie Sloan chalk paint so I thought I am going to try it!!  I decided on Blue to add a POP of color in our room and I got started painting!! It was so fun and there was no sanding, priming or any of that and I think it turned out great!! Gave our room a whole new look!  After the armoire I moved to Jackson's Winnie the Pooh table in his room! I know he is 7 no more winnie the pooh so I painted it blue too and it looks awesome!!!  Warning its addicting and I am trying to figure out what to paint next! Here is the before and after!!!  SO awesome!

Honor Roll for the 3rd time this year!

We are so so proud of Jackson for getting honor roll for the third straight time this year!!!  He is such a great student!  All E's and 1 S in Writing!  What a great accomplishment Jackson!!  You are flying through the first grade with flying colors!!!! We love you Jackson and are SO VERY PROUD of you!!!!

Blueberry picking with Addison!!

Since we made our blueberry muffins with the last of our blueberries I decided to take Addison blueberry picking last Friday!!  I knew she liked blueberries but this took it to a whole new level as all she did was eat them off the trees!!  Which meant I had to do all the picking and we definitely did not get as many as when Jackson and I!!  But we did have a great time Addison loved it and keeps asking to go back again for more!! Next time we will bring Jackson who is a pro at picking the blueberries!! Such a fun little outing!!!  Enjoy the pictures of our little blueberry queen!!!

Reunited!

We went to pick up Addison and boy were Jackson and Addison excited to see each other!!  It was the cutest thing!!  We all missed our bubbly happy little Addison around here!!  However I think its safe to say she did have a blast with Mimi and Pop because when we were leaving to bring her back to Tampa she cried and asked to stay!!! No surprise there she went to the park with her cousins, the library for story time and went to sand mountain and swam in the pool almost everyday!!  I'd like to stay too!!  Thank you so much Mimi and Pop for having Addison for the week she hasn't stopped talking about her time with you!!  We are SO happy to have little Addison back we all missed her terribly!!

Blueberry Picking!!

Jackson and I went blueberry picking with our friends last week and boy did we have a good time!!  We had never been blueberry picking before so it was a new experience for the both of us!!  The blueberries were delicious we ate the as we went and even Jackson liked them!!  Then next month the blackberries will be ready and Jackson said we just have to come back for that!! We had so many blueberries that we decided to make blueberry muffins when Addison came back and boy were they delicious!!  It was so much fun can't wait to go back again for more!!

Field Day!

Jackson's school had their annual Field Day and it was a so much fun!!  I am so so glad I was able to go I throughly enjoyed it and Jackson did a GREAT job in all the activities!!!  It was awesome seeing Jackson and his classmates having such a fun time!!! It was super hot out but that didn't stop them from having a great time!!  Jackson loved the water balloons and the tugowar the most!!  Such an exciting and fun afternoon!!  Check out these pictures!!!  So proud of our little first grader!!!

GO Rays!!!

Wednesday night while Addison was still at Mimi and Pops house we got tickets to take Jackson to the Rays game  from our very kind neighbor who works for the Rays and we had awesome seats right behind the Rays dugout!! We had an absolute blast!!  The last time we took Jackson to a Rays game was when he was 2!! Can't believe it was that long ago!!  Jackson enjoyed the cotton candy of course and seeing the Rays tank!!  But he said his favorite was when they won!!  It wasn't too exciting of a game until the end when they shut the Orioles out in the last inning and the Rays won!!!!  We were all on our feet cheering it was so exciting!!  Jackson got a game ball and was SUPER excited!!  Such a great night!!  Jackson kept asking when we were going again and that we just had to bring Addison it would be so much fun!!
