ISR is the Best!

We did our second year of ISR for little Addison!!  And it has been AMAZING!!  We went back to our favorite instructor Miss Christy for our lessons again and she is just awesome!!  She loves our little Addison and Addison loves her for the most part lol!!  The lessons are out in Lutz so it takes about 25 minutes there and 25 minutes back every afternoon but seeing our little Addison swim is WELL WORTH it!!!!  She is a master floater now and can swim float swim!!  SO proud of Addison!!  She is doing phenomenal!! SO the bottom picture is Addison on her last day floating in clothes!!  She did AWESOME and she id officially and ISR graduate!!  We definitely recommend ISR and if you are in Tampa Christy Lowe is the BEST!!!  She was even featured on the news!!!

Schools out for summer!!!

And just like that it was the last day of 1st Grade!  Jackson had a great year!!  So many fun times and memories!!  The homework was definitely intense at times but once we got into our groove all was good!!  Jacksons teacher was phenomenal and we are really going to miss her!!  And Jackson was actually sad on the last day that he was going to miss his teacher and friends! Such a sweet boy he is!! On to 2nd grade he goes!!  Can't believe how fast time goes! Definitely wanting to freeze it at times!!  After school we celebrated with good friends at ChickFilA!!  The kids all had a blast!! Then Jackson and Addison had donuts for National Donut Day!!  I'd say its a great start to summer!!   Congrats on a great year Jackson!!  Honor Roll all year!! SO incredibly proud of you!!  Looking forward to a summer of fun in the sun!!!

End of Year Party!

Jackson had his end of year party the day before school was out and I was able to go and help the class which was so much fun!!  The kids had a blast and I had such a good time with Jackson!!!  I was in charge of helping the kids stack two packages of smarties looks easy but no it was so hard!  What a wonderful year we have had with Jackson in 1st grade in Mrs. Wallace's class!!  The homework was slightly insane but I can honestly say I have watched Jackson grow by leaps and bounds this year and the homework was part of that!!  The class put on an adorable end of year program and awards presentation which of course I videoed and added below!!  We are just so proud of you Jackson!!! Jackson received the gummy bear award for being the most caring and huggable classmate!! It was a great morning celebrating our little guy!!!  Love you Jackson!!

Addison's 1st Dance Recital!!!

I dont even know where to begin to blog this one there were so many special moments but here it goes!!  So Addison and I had be at the Straz Center of Performing Arts in Tampa at 4pm last Saturday for her 1st dance recital and we were there promptly a first I know.  However I was slightly concerned about what I was going to do with my 2 year old for 4 hours in a small dressing room! All ended up being fine as she was highly entertained watching the big girls walk by in their costumes, playing with her dance friends and some of the veteran dance moms brought videos and puzzles which kept them occupied thank goodness!!  Then came the BIG show!  To say I was nervous is an understatement!  Its a HUGE stage and Addison never stayed on the line once in practice so I was slightly concerned about that along with the fact that she could run off, not dance, take off her costume lol etc!  BUT our little girl pulled off the performance of a lifetime in my books!!  She is the littlest dancer out of the whole company and she stole.the.show with her dance to Barbie Girl!!  As Aunt Holly said she was born to be a soloist!!  I took her out on the stage then vanished behind the curtain so she wouldn't see me but before I left she said "Mommy its really dark" It was all I could do not to cry watching her up on that stage!  She danced her little heart out and they all had the crowd laughing and clapping and highly entertained!!  It was precious!! And after the teacher carried her off the stage she said she wanted more and asked to do it again!!!  Love it and her!!  We then went out for the finale and took a bow the moms and all!  It was a wonderful night and I can.not wait for next year!!! She is excited to dance again this summer so we will see how it continues to go!!  She has been doing her dance in all sorts of places all around the town!!  Love love love our little barbie girl!!!!  Thank you Mimi and Pop for coming and to Ryan and Jackson too for all sitting in the audience through a 3 hours dance recital!!  But if you ask them it was all worth it to watch Addison take the stage!!!!  Enjoy!!!

Sportsmanship!!

Jackson received the medal for Sportsmanship in his last football game!!  And he sure deserved it as he offered to play for the other team the second half of the game since they didn't have enough players and it would then be even and everyone would play!  My dad and I went to the game and Addison stayed with Mimi and we had a great time watching Jackson play!!  Love chasing my little Addison but it was nice to actually watch the game :-) Jackson was sweet and played for the other team but you could tell he wasn't giving it his all since his allegiance is to his REAL team!!  It was hard to root for one team as Jackson was on one team and my husband was coaching the other but we managed!!  And Jackson and Ryans team won which was awesome!!  And it was the cutest thing when it came to the handshake Jackson said I am going back to my team!!  Sportsmanship!!!  Just love that boy!!  SO proud of you Jackson!!  You are a STAR!!!

Addison dance recital went off without a hitch!  Hair perfectly in a bun, she actually wore the costume, red lipstick on and she DANCED!!  YAY!!  That definitely gave me hope for the upcoming recital considering every other time she performed the dance she did every BUT the dance!!  It was so so cute to see Addison and all her little friends all dolled up!!
