Jackson The Graduate!!!!!

Last Thursday was Jackson's big graduation ceremony from Pre-K and what a special ceremony it was!!!!  Rainbow Garden is a phenomenal preschool and we feel so blessed to have had Jackson go there all three years and graduate Pre-K from there!!  It has been an experience of a lifetime and I for one am sad it is coming to an end!!!  Rainbow Garden is so familiar to me and I know mostly everyone there thanks to Jackson who is a social butterfly and the mayor of the school!!!  But it really has been a wonderful experience and we have made some great friends and I cannot thank Rainbow Garden enough for all they have taught Jackson!!!  With that being said Graduation night was nothing short of amazing with a slide show that melted my heart with Jackson saying he wanted to grow up to be a doctor and a dad!!!!!  How cute and sweet!!!  Then came the big entrance with their cap and gowns and pomp and circumstance which I sobbed thru thinking how fast time goes and if I blink in no time we will be watching him graduate from high school!!! Then they sang a few sweet songs and were then presented with their diplomas and they even moved their tassles!!!  It was so so special and I was brought to tears during many moments (not that that is anything new these days) but nonetheless it was emotional for me to see my big 5 year old graduating from preschool!!!! It was definitely a moment in time to remember and one of many special milestones!!!  Congratulations Jackson!!!  We are SO extremely proud of you and all your accomplishments and we love you very very much!!!!!!!!

I cannot believe I am already posting Jackson's spring and cap and gown pictures from the school photographer!!!  It seems like just yesterday I was dropping him off in the 2 year old class at Rainbow Garden and now we are in his last week of school!!!  Enjoy these sweet pictures of our graduate!!! Teacher Appreciation Week, Back to Work and Much Much More!!!!!

Last week was one of the busiest weeks we have had in awhile but also a pretty good one!!!!  It was teacher appreciation week which we were so happy to join in celebrating all our wonderful teachers at The Rainbow Garden!!!  So that meant every day I ran around getting little gifts of appreciation for Miss Lisa and Miss Adriana from cards and flowers to supplies and gift cards!!  On top of that it was also pajama day at school on Friday which Jackson was SO excited about and looked forward to it all week!!!  All the kids looked adorable in their cute pajamas and Jackson was thrilled to wear his Angry bird pajamas!!!  Then after school Friday since Jackson had a great week we went for ice cream at sun groves!!!  We had never been there before but passed by it a million times!!!!  It was so great I know we will be going back again soon!!!  Jackson loved the blueberry marshmallow ice cream and Addison was a little doll which made for a fun afternoon with my sweet kiddos!!

Another aspect that lead to our busy week was that this week was the week I have dreaded since I had Addison January 10th since it meant back to work for me which also meant I had to leave my sweet Addison!!!! :-(  Not that I don't like my job but I SO enjoyed my maternity leave and spending time with Jackson and Addison everyday but I have to remember I was luckier than most in that I was able to take 4 1/2 months off to spend with my kiddos!!!  And even though I worked out a good deal with my boss which allows me to still pick Jackson up from school on the two days I work I was still sad!!!  And I know Addison is in good hands with Otie!!  But I am not going to lie when I tell you I cried when I left her that first day and that I was THRILLED when it was over and I was able to pick Jackson up at school and go home to our sweet little Addison!!!!

And if all that wasn't enough we also had 2 afternoons of karate, one broken garage door, one broken toilet, a broken shelf in the garage that fell and dinged my new car and the worst part......a sick little Addison that had to go to the doctor twice this past weekend!!!  Its so so sad and scary when they are sick and especially since she's still so little!!!  Dr Anton thinks she has an upper respiratory infection so we started the nebulizer every 4 hours :-( We are hoping our sweet little Addison is better soon although she is still her sweet self giving tons of smiles and snuggles!!!! These are the days..........

It is always a good night when our dinner, bath and bedtime routine go smoothly!!!  And tonight was one of those nights!!!!! Both Jackson and Addison were in good moods and so sweet and precious!!! Addison was so happy while we sat with Jackson for dinner and she was a little doll hanging out in the baby bjorn while I gave Jackson a bath!!!  Then the 3 of us layed on Jackson's bed playing pat-a-cake with Addison which she loves and giggles at every time!!!  And we ended the night reading batman books for Jackson and princess books for Addison!!!  It was such a fun evening with my two little munchkins!!!  Gotta love the easy nights they make all the crazy ones a distant memory until the next one that is!!!!!!  Enjoy our bedtime photo session and a quick Jackson story for you..... so as I was taking the pictures Jackson said wait mom if I smile for these pictures can I have a piece of candy??  Haha NO I said its bedtime but keep smiling please!!  Think I bribe him too much ?!? Maybe but these are the days..........

So happy to hold Addison's hand again after he has been sick for the past few weeks and I have been trying my hardest to keep them away from each other the best I can!
