The official countdown is on for Thanksgiving at the Lossius household! Jackson is excited to have some turkey at Mimi and Pops house, he has been wishing everyone he knows or doesn't know a Happy Thanksgiving and he is also wearing his holiday festive pajamas this whole week getting into the spirit!!! We have absolutely loved November (although it is going by a little too fast) as we have had a little cooler weather, fun thanksgiving decorations to make and put out and we have been baking like crazy for various events and get togethers!! So I thought I would share some fun pictures of our Thanksgiving decorations around the house and post an absolute fabulous recipe for Thanksgiving for those of you who have not yet indulged in it!!! Enjoy!!!

So for the delicious Cranberry Recipe:
You can make it ahead of time and refrigerate overnight then bake the next day if its easier!
Preheat oven - 350 Degrees
Ingredients:
2 Cups tart apples chopped
2 Cups raw whole cranberries
3/4 Cup White Sugar
1 Cup Quaker Oats (not instant ones)
1/2 Cup Butter melted
1/2 Cup Flour
1/2 Cup light brown sugar
Mix all of above together - bake for 50 minutes in a buttered casserole dish. Cover 1/2 of baking time then remove cover for remainder of baking time.
Serve with dinner as a sweet side dish or with ice cream as a dessert!!
So Delicious!! Enjoy!!!
And a Safe and Happy Thanksgiving to all!!!!!!
