Our Gingerbread Houses!!!

Jackson and I have made making our gingerbread house an annual tradition!!!  And this year we actually made two!!  I volunteered in Jackson's class last week to help all the kids make their own gingerbread houses which was so much fun!!!  They all liked to eat the candy way more than to actually make the houses but all the houses turned out so cute!!!  And then I was able to stay and have lunch with Jackson and then do a craft and watch him play on the playground with all his little friends!!  it is always so much fun spending time with Jackson and his classmates!!! Then Jackson and I made our own gingerbread house at home which turned out so cute too!!  It was so much fun although Jackson mainly ate the icing until it was time to decorate but he was a big help putting the candy on and it was fun to spend time with my little guy!!  Here are a few pictures of our gingerbread houses!!!  Enjoy!!!

The ingredients!! We made the icing at school to make the graham crackers stick to the milk cartons!

Merry Madagascar!!!

Ryan and I wanted to do something fun with Jackson for Christmas so we decided to take a trip over to Orlando on Saturday for some Christmas fun!!  I really wanted to take Jackson to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas but didn't think that would end up being too fun being 8 months pregnant chasing Jackson around Disney world since it was tough enough when we went for Halloween and I was only 5 months pregnant, maybe next year!!!  So we started out by going to the T-Rex Cafe and having a delicious lunch then walking around downtown Disney for a little while searching for a Mickey watch that Jackson really wanted which we finally found and he loves!!!!  Then we went to Gaylord Palms for the Merry Madagascar Ice!!  First we decorated cookies and met the Gingerbread man "Gingy!!"  Then we headed into the Ice which was a freezing 9 degrees!!!  Thank goodness we brought warm clothes to wear underneath the coats they gave us because it is still ridiculously cold but we had a great time!!! Ryan and Jackson went on the ice slides which they said were fun but SO cold!!!!  And all the ice sculptures were awesome to see!!!  It was a fun time but boy was it crowded everywhere we went!! Tis the season!!!  Enjoy the pictures of our adventures!!!!!

Let's be honest all Jackson really wanted to do was eat the icing!!
