Our Batman Pumpkin!!!

The theme this Halloween in the Lossius household is Batman!!!  So it was very fitting that Jackson wanted Ryan to carve a batman pumpkin this year!!!  And of course we have quite enough pumpkins to chose from to carve from all of our pumpkin patch visits!!  We had so much fun carving the pumpkin together especially with this beautiful weather we are having!!!! Zoo Boo!!!

This weekend we took Jackson to Zoo Boo for some more Halloween fun!!!  Jackson had a great time as did Ryan and I!!!!  Jackson rode most all of the rides, enjoyed some delicious ice cream and cotton candy and we even saw a few of the animals that were still out!!!  We always have so much fun at Zoo Boo we look forward to it every year!!!!!  We are taking full advantage of this fabulous Halloween season and the activities that it brings!!!! Hilarious Hat Day and Musical Chairs!!!

Friday was hilarious hat day in Jackson's class!! So Ryan gave Jackson lots of options for hats and he chose a gator hat to wear fitting for the day before the BIG Florida/Georgia game!!  Although as I am posting this the Gators just lost :-( But anyway Jackson looked so cute and apparently wore it all day except when Miss Lisa made him take it off to go outside since it was a little hot to be wearing a ski hat!!  And I also had the pleasure of volunteering in Jackson's class Friday and was able to witness hat day, do a pumpkin project with the kids, read a book to them and even play musical chairs with them which by the way Jackson won!!!  It was a great day with my little guy at school, I just love being able to volunteer in his class and I know he loves it too!!!  Especially since my neck went out on me Thursday night and because I was still in so much pain Friday morning Ryan suggested I not volunteer that Miss Lisa would understand and I said she might but Jackson won't he has been looking forward to it all week I have to make it happen!!! And sure enough 5 minutes later Jackson runs in our room and says "Good Morning MOM!!  Yay!!! Today is the day you are coming in my class right I am so excited!!!!!" So obviously I went and dealt with the pain and enjoyed every minute of it!!!!!! Here are some cute pictures!!! Enjoy!!!!

More Fall Fun!!

This week Jackson and I have had more fun baking and we even went to another pumpkin patch in our busy week of activities!!!!  We made these delicious rice krispy treat pumpkins (thank you for the fun recipe Mimi!) that were a blast to make although as you will see I am not the best decorator but we still managed to enjoy them!!!  We also made my favorite pretzel buttons that I make for every holiday but this time I substituted the m&m's for candy corn!!!  Jackson and I thought they were delicious but we are biased so we made lots of them and Ryan took them into his office and they were a hit with everyone there too!!!  Love baking for the holidays with my little guy its always a treat!!!  

Then Jackson and I decided to go to yet another pumpkin patch this time in Hyde Park Wednesday while we were making our millionth trip to Pottery Barn Kids trying to get Addison and Jackson's rooms ready for them!!!  And of course we have another pumpkin on our doorstep!!  We sure do love pumpkin patches!!!  Enjoy our pictures from our fun and busy week!!!
