My little shadow!

Addison is walking all over the house in her walker now!!  She loves her new found freedom to roam the house and get into everything she can!!  Although at times its like bumper cars as she runs into walls, chairs, tables, people you name it but I have to say she is pretty good at maneuvering herself into another direction!  And when Jackson joins in Addison is running around the house as he pushes her along!  Addison thinks its funny and I am usually a nervous wreck watching telling Jackson to slow down!!! Addison follows everyone around the house so curious to see what everybody is doing!!  She is so observant!!!  But I can't go anywhere without my little shadow on my heels following me around babbling along eventually protesting for me to pick her up!!!!  And she is just too cute not to give in to so of course I pick her up!!!!  Enjoy this cute video of little Addison walking around in her walker!!!

Run Jackson Run!!!!!!

Last week was Jackson's 1st baseball game and I volunteered to be the Dugout Mom which means I was so busy getting the boys to line up correctly to bat and to not forget their gloves and hats to go on the field that I didn't take one picture during the game!  So this week Addison and I came a little late since Addison was taking a marathon nap and I passed my dugout mom duties to someone else so I was actually able to take a few pictures of Jackson during the game!!  Jackson did well hitting the ball however he had a little trouble staying focused in the outfield!!  He decided it was more fun to play in the dirt!!  Although this week was better than last week because last week all he did was run around trying to catch love bugs!!!  And his favorite line during the game is "This is taking forever!" Although I can't blame him they play for an hour and a half that is a long time for anyone to keep focus!  And the best story from this weeks game was when Jackson was on second base he made friends with the second baseman on the other team and when it was time for Jackson to run to third he kept the conversation with the second baseman going the ENTIRE time as he ran aka walked to third and even stepped over the two players trying to pick up the ball!!!  And this was all as the coaches and I and Ryan were yelling run Jackson run!!!!  He was safe though I might add!!!  You gotta love how Jackson just loves to make friends in every situation even if it is the opposing team!!!! All that matters for now anyway is that he is having fun and seems to like it and keeps wanting to go back!!!  Enjoy the pictures of our little baseball player!!!!!

Zoom Zoom Zoom!!!!

We had an action packed week!!!  It seems like we are always busy but this week was one of the busiest weeks we've had since school started!!!! So I asked Jackson to get in the car to head to karate on Wednesday and I said "seems like we are always on the go huh Jackson!" And Jackson replied "zoom zoom zoom mom that's what we do!"  I had to laugh since that really is our life during the week we are always zooming around town! We had our usual karate, Kumon and baseball routine but then to top it off work was insanely busy for Ryan and I and we had various other events to attend like spirit night at chick-fil-a for Jackson's school, Open house at school, lunch with Jackson at school and the list goes on and on.......

Ryan and I went to open house which went well! Of course I somehow was guilted into home room mom for Jackson's class since no one else had volunteered to do it! Not sure what I got myself into but I think it will be fun and I can spend more time with my little guy! And the only story we heard from Jackson's teacher was that when Jackson gets upset with a friend in his class he un-invites them to his birthday party!  The teacher thought it was funny and said his birthday is in March right!?  Ryan and I both said we would put an end to that but that Jackson's 2 favorite holidays are Halloween and his birthday!!!  Notice I said holiday for Jackson's birthday! I definitely think Jackson thinks his birthday should be treated like a national holiday by everyone!!!  Especially since we weren't even out of the parking lot of his 5th birthday party and he was already planning his next one!!!  Jackson loves a party that's for sure!!!

Anyway enjoy the pictures of our busy but fun week!!! Thank goodness for the weekends although lately they haven't been any more calm!!!!!

Although this was right before she had a meltdown because I made her stop playing with my rearview mirror button!!! I thought we were resorting back to the newborn crying days of being in the car she was mad and screamed for a good 10 minutes until Jackson got in the car and she quieted right down!!!!!  

Addison is 8 months old!!!!

Happy 8 month birthday to our little Addison!!!  So this month I am only 7 days late posting!!!  This photo shoot was a little more difficult than most as Addison kept wanting to crawl off the rocking chair!!! LOL!! So most of her pictures were taken with her sitting on the floor however we still managed to get some cute ones!!!  Addison is definitely on the move these days mainly doing the army crawl!! She is still not super fast yet but she gets to where she wants to go that's for sure!!  She loves to crawl but her other favorite thing to do is to be in her walker!!  She walks all around the house its so so cute I will have to post a video!!  It is hilarious to watch her she follows everyone all around the house in and out of rooms and just babbling away!! And she loves to follow Jackson and Jackson loves to play with her (aka Torment her) too!! Like the other day when Jackson pushed Addison in her room and shut the door then came and said mom Addison is stuck in her room and she did it all by herself!!  Nice try Jackson I saw the whole thing!!  So I went in her room to get her and she gave Jackson and I a big smile guess it didn't faze her!!  She just loves her big brother!!!  And just this week I spotted her 1st tooth coming in which is her left bottom one!! Finally she has been teething for months poor baby!!  Addison is still the happiest baby and and is still the happiest when she is being held!!!  She is still loving sweet potatoes and eating some finger foods such as yogurt melts and puffs and loves to grab anything she can!!  And she loves to feed haley!!  We are all having fun watching Addison grow up!!!  Enjoy the pictures of our sweet little Addison!!!

Happy Happy Happy!!

I wanted to post some pictures that I have taken recently of Addison and couldn't come up with a title then I started looking at all the pictures and there was one common theme Addison is always Happy Happy Happy!!!  What can I say she is just the happiest little girl!!! And pretty much all the time too!!  She just goes with the flow except when she's hungry or tired but who isn't cranky when they are hungry or tired!!!! She is always in tow for her big brothers activities like tutoring, baseball, karate, the hour wait in carline etc and everyone always comments on how happy our little Addison is at all these events!!!!  She is such a little love and her happiness is contagious!!! We are all so in love with this sweet and happy and adorable I might add little girl!!!!

So I guess you win some and you lose some!!  And despite that awful loss yesterday I did manage to get a few cute pictures of my sweet little gator fans!!! And as my friend Julie says Cute kids make up for bad games!!! Which was definitely the case yesterday!!  These two looked too cute not to post on the blog!!!  They were ready for the game unlike the Gator offense!!!  But as we always say........In all kinds of weather we'll all stick together for F L O R I D A!!!!  It's still GREAT to be a Florida Gator!!!  Hopefully I will still be as positive at the end of the season!!!  Enjoy a few pictures from this week and last weeks gator pictures!!!

Addison is on the move!!!

Addison has been scooting around for a little while but now she is actually trying to do a little army crawl to get where she wants to go!!! And she has been practicing getting up on all fours and rocking back and forth!  Uh oh I have a feeling things will start to move fast now!!!  When she is determined to get somewhere or something she figures out how to get there!!!  Then this morning I put her in her crib and Ryan walked in to find her standing up in her crib!!!  After we took the picture of her standing of course Ryan immediately lowered her crib!!! If she follows in her brothers foot steps she will be walking in no time since Jackson started walking at 10 months!!!  Enjoy a few pictures and a video of our little mover and shaker!! She is growing up way too fast!!
