We LOVE Halloween!!!

So if you haven't heard that commercial for Halloween at Legoland you are missing out!! Just Kidding but it is so catchy and every time it comes on the radio Jackson and I sing it and of course Jackson asks every time to go there! But I couldn't help think it fits us because..............We LOVE Halloween!!!  So After celebrating Halloween for over a month now Halloween is finally tomorrow and boy do we have one excited little boy!!!!!! It was to the point tonight that I had to threaten taking away Halloween tomorrow just to get Jackson to go to sleep tonight!!! It worked though he was out like a light!!!  So since Jackson loves Halloween we even have to dress Halloween at bedtime too!! So of course we bought Addison and Jackson some new pajamas for Halloween!!!  They looked so so sweet so I had to snap a few pictures!

We also carved our pumpkin this week which was super fun!!!  Jackson decided he wanted an angry bird pumpkin so Ryan got to work and it turned out SO cute!!!  Good job Ryan we love it!!!  And Jackson loves decorating gingerbread houses at Christmas time (aka eating the candy) so we made our 1st ever haunted mansion gingerbread house!!!  I didn't buy the pre assembled one so it was a bit of a challenge and I may or may not have lost my temper but after I finally built it we had a blast decorating it!! Its not perfect but I think it turned out so cute!!!

Can you tell we love this time of year!??!!  Its all about Halloween fun!!!  Not sure what we will do when its over I guess start the Christmas countdown! AHHHH how is that possible?!? So in case you were wondering 56 days until Christmas!!!  Seriously where has this year gone!!!! Enjoy!!!!  Happy Halloween!!!!

Boosterthon Fun Run!!!

Jackson's school had its first ever Boosterthon fundraiser this past week!!! It kicked off with a pep rally to get the kids hyped about raising money for their school! And let me tell you these Boosterthon people know what they are doing because ever since Boosterthon started all Ryan and I have heard about from Jackson is.........did you make another pledge yet or let's call this person or that person to ask for money I have to get more pledges!!!!!  And based on the number of pledges the kids had that determined the prizes they received!!  So thank you to everyone who donated to Jackson as he was super excited about the prizes he received such as a new lunchbox that he is sporting around school to a flying disc, bouncy ball, crazy hair etc!! 

So last Thursday was the big event of Boosterthon which was a fun run at the school where the students were projected to run between 30-35 laps (Mind you they are small laps not a big track like I thought) to encourage exercise, a healthy lifestyle and motivation!!!  So Addison and I went to cheer Jackson on (Daddy was on a work trip and couldn't make it :-() and boy were the kids super excited to run!!!  Jackson's teacher needed help checking off the boosterthon laps on the kids shirts during the run so I jumped in to help!! It was definitely fun although I had Addison on one hip and was marking the kids laps on their shirts with my other hand which was quite the workout for the 45 minutes I did it but I was glad I could help!!! And I am happy to report Jackson ran all 35 laps and then some!!!  It was a great morning for the event and a nice chilly one at that which made it all the more awesome!!! Our Park Playdate!

The weather has been so beautiful lately that last Friday Jackson, Addison and I headed to the park for our own little play date! These two were so adorable as they were somewhat playing together and it was so so cute I had to take some pictures! They went on the swings and rode the bouncy horse together and went down the slide together! They had a blast and so did I!!! I love how much they love each other and how well they play together!!! I'm sure it won't be like this forever so I have to enjoy these days now!!! Then our friends met us and they had some more playtime!! It was a beautiful afternoon at the park we will definitely be doing that again soon!!!! Enjoy the sweet pictures!!!

All things Fall!!!

Happy Fall!!! Fall is in the air! Well not technically since it was 85 degrees out today but we are expecting cooler weather this week!!  Yay!!!!  Since I simply love this time of year one of my favorite things to do is to decorate the house with Fall and Halloween decorations!!!  And it was especially fun this year having a new house to decorate!!  It was challenging at times finding the time to do it as well as finding a new place for everything but I am so so happy with how it all turned out so I had to share!!!!!  And I have been loving dressing little Addison in her Fall Smocked Best and Jackson in his fun Halloween shirts!! And Sunday Jackson and I baked Halloween cupcakes for Ryan's office!! We had such a great time and of course they were a huge hit with Jackson and Ryan said his office devoured them in no time!!! Our 1st Pumpkin Patch with Addison!!!

I just LOVE this time of year with Fall being in full swing!!!  There are always so many fun activities to do with the kids, the weather is perfect not too hot and not too cold and there seems to be a pumpkin patch on every corner!!!  So we took Addison to her 1st Pumpkin Patch on Sunday in Hyde Park and it was so much fun!!  I was worried she would be crawling all over the place but she was so mesmerized by the pumpkins and hay she sat still the whole time!!!  With that being said it was again next to impossible to get the two of them to both look at me let alone smile!!  And I even had our friends the Pincus's (Thank you Pincus's) helping me try to get them to look at me AND smile as we ran into them there!!!  But I think we got a few cute pictures nonetheless!!!  Once Addison got a feel for the Hay she of course tried to put it in her mouth!!  And Jackson was picking out two little pumpkins (although he was not happy that they had run out of the mini pumpkins he wanted for his room) for us to take home by jumping from pumpkin to pumpkin!!!  It was a three ring circus but we had fun!!!!  Enjoy the pictures from our pumpkin patch experience!!!
