Baby its Cold Outside!

It has been cold here in Florida obviously no snow but like 34 degrees cold!  So of course the heat was cranked up, our fire place was glowing and we were all bundled up!! I love a little cold weather here and there but I am not gonna lie when I saw the weekend forecast was in the high 70's I was thrilled!! Here's Jackson all bundled up ready for school with hat, gloves and heavy coat!!  Brrrrrrrr!

Valentine's Day Fun!!

We had a wonderful Valentine's Day weekend with Mimi and Pop in town!! It was nice and relaxing and we just enjoyed our time with them!! Jackson and Addison were so excited about Valentine's Day it was much like the excitement of Christmas morning!!  And we did not disappoint! The day started with Jackson and Addison opening their presents and loving them! Jackson wanted Pokemon Y for his DS and Addison got lots of fun stuff for her babies which she loved! Then we had a lovely breakfast at our favorite spot then just had fun playing outside pretty much the rest of the day!! Then Sunday we played some golf out back working on Jackson's golf game and had a lovely dinner that Mimi made!! Thank you so so much Mimi and Pop for coming it was a lovely weekend!!!

Addison's 2 year check up!

Addison's 2 year check up was last Friday! I mean wasn't it just yesterday I brought her in for her 1st newborn checkup! My how time is flying!!  We had a great check up with Dr. Anton!! She passed all the 2 year old questions with flying colors and of course won over Dr. Anton as always with her little charming self!!  She did get a shot :-( but didn't even cry and was so excited to get a lollipop afterward!!  

Here are little Miss Addison's 2 year stats:

Head Circumference: 19 inches ~ 74% percentile

Height: 34 inches ~ 53% percentile

Weight: 26 pounds ~ 38% Percentile

More February Fun!!!!

We have had a busy February so far but a super fun one!!  We have had fun playdates with friends and birthday parties and super bowl parties with friends and just good times all around enjoying this  beautiful February weather!  Enjoy!!

No Cavities!!

We had a great check up with the dentist for both Jackson and Addison!!  Jackson had a great cleaning and NO cavities!! Yay!!  And it was Addison's 1st dental appointment and it was interesting to say the least!  She would NOT let the hygienist clean her teeth NO WAY NO HOW!!  We tried and we tried but she was just not budging! I even offered her a lollipop if she did which I know was counterproductive and the hygienist gave me a solid "bribe with toys not candy!" Oops!!  But then when Dr. Lesser came over to check her teeth Addison opened wide and let her check them out!  Little stinker!!  So we are still waiting on the 2 year molars but everything else is great!!  I'm not going to lie it was an exhausting trip with both kids but I am happy we are Cavity FREE!!  We will be back in 6 months to do it all again hopefully by then Addison will let them clean her teeth although I am not holding my breath on that one!!  Enjoy!!

Addison's 1st Photo Shoot for Smockadot Kids!!

We were so excited when Addison and Jackson were asked to do a little modeling for Smockadot Kids last Sunday at Anna Maria Island Beach for their summer collection!!!  However the size 6 shirts didn't come in right so my friend Julie said she didn't have anything for Jackson to model anymore which Jackson was totally fine with he wanted to stay home with daddy!  So I just took Addison who was such a little doll and such a trooper being that we were there for 3 hours and she had 4 outfit changes!!  She was a little shy and hesitant at first but once she saw the big kids doing it she was all about it!!  And the fact sweet Miss Julie bribed her with some smarties and marshmallows!!   She smiled, she danced, she jumped, she put her hand on her hip you name it and she did it!! Then she got a little too comfortable and started digging in the sand and throwing sand!! Good news is it was at the very end when it was time to go!!  It was a gorgeous day the sun was shining and it was 79 degrees it couldn't have been more perfect for this photo shoot!!!! I am in love with these pictures of our sweet girl and so in love with the sweet outfits too!!  So the first few are the photographers pictures and the rest are just the ones I took which clearly there's no comparison!!  I have to admit I was completely exhausted after this shoot but it was worth every moment and I Can't wait for the next one!!  Enjoy!
