What a fun week...Mimi was here!!!

What a fun week we had this week and its all because Mimi was here!!! We always have fun when Mimi comes to town and this week was no exception!!! Thank you Mimi for all your help with Jackson and Addison, the million loads of laundry you did, the delicious dinners you cooked, errands you ran, etc I could go on and on!!!!! It was an action packed week full of karate classes. the mothers tea, our anniversary, playing outside and the biggest was we took Jackson to chucky cheese and this time daddy got to go and boy did they have a blast together!!!! It was a great week and as always we were sad to see Mimi leave but are looking forward to her next visit!!!!! We Love you Mimi!!!! Enjoy the few pictures I took in the midst of our busy week!!

The Mother's Tea!!

What a special day I had with Jackson at The Mother's Tea event at The Rainbow Garden. It was such an adorable event these little 4 and 5 year olds put together for their moms!!! It was truly the sweetest thing and I was so honored to be a part of it and spend time with my sweet little Jackson!!! When I arrived I was greeted at the door with a yellow flower from my excited little guy and oh how it melted my heart!! How is it possible he is 5 already and almost done with preschool!!!! Tissue please!!! And then as if that wasn't sweet enough the gifts Jackson made for me were just precious and ones I will treasure forever!!!! What a wonderful day we had together and one I will remember always!!! Enjoy!!!

A Happy 9 Year Anniversary!!!

Our 9 year wedding anniversary was on Wednesday and what a lovely day it was!!! Thanks to Mimi, Ryan and I were able to enjoy a kid free night for the first time since Addison was born and what a great time we had together!! We didn't want to go to far because evenings are Addison's fussy time and we didn't want to scare Mimi off from watching her again ;-) so we just went across the way to Stonechase and had a wonderful dinner outside! It was so so nice just the two of us!!!! I just can't believe it has been 9 years it has flown by!! Although really this month marks 15 years since we first met!!! Who knew a red light/green light sorority/fraternity social would lead me to my wonderful husband and 2 adorable children!!! Oh how I Love them all!! Happy Anniversary to us!!! And here's to many many more!!!!

Addison's first Lilly!!

Anyone that knows me knows I love anything and everything Lilly Pulitzer!!! So of course this Lilly lover was sad to hear of the passing of Lilly Pulitzer (1931-2013). Her clothing was classic, timeless and colorful and Addison and I will continue to wear our Lilly proudly!! So in honor of Lilly Pulitzer I had to put Addison in her first of many Lilly dresses!!! She looked so adorable I just had to post it!!! And here are a few of my favorite Lilly Pulitzer quotes:

Addison is 3 Months Old!!!

Our lovely little Addison is 3 months old already and is no longer considered a newborn she is now an infant!!!!!! What a fabulous 3 months it has been!!!! Addison is now 11 pounds and in the 21st percentile for her age!! Yay!!! Dr. Anton was quite impressed as she was up from 11% at her 2 month check up!!!! She is getting so big well big for our little peanut anyway and so animated with her sweet little personality shining thru!! Although I have to note that she is slightly stubborn and can definitely scream with the best of them but she is still a doll!!! And Addison's new thing at 3 months is that she hates the car!!!!! She used to be so good in the car now every time we get in the car she screams the entire time!!!! Poor Jackson really has to deal with it being that he sits right next to her so he does say on occasion "she's hurting my ears mom!!" I tell him this too shall pass we just hope sooner rather than later!!!! But nonetheless we LOVE our sweet little Addison!!!! Karate Graduation!

Jackson had his 1st Karate Graduation on Saturday April 6th ( I know I am behind on m posts!) and we are SO very proud of him!! Ryan, Addison and I all went to cheer Jackson on and see all the moves he has learned to graduate to the next belt! He had to earn 3 stripes on his white belt by breaking boards or perfecting moves which he did so now he is on to the orange stripe belt!! Great Job Jackson we are so proud of you keep up the good work!!!!

Happy Easter and Addison's first trip to Jupiter!!!

Jackson was on Spring Break the week before Easter so we decided to pack up and head over to Mimi and Pops house for some spring break fun! It was also Addison's first trip to Jupiter and I think she enjoyed Mimi and Pops house as much as Jackson does!!!!! It was a great week and I was so happy and thankful to Mimi and Pop and Aunt Lauren for all their added help!!!! I know that Uncle Rob would have helped too except he had to miss Easter with us for work in Texas :-( And of course Jackson had a blast as usual!! He rode bikes with Pop to the park everyday, went in the hot tub, visited the Easter Bunny, hunted for Easter Eggs at the annual church Easter Egg hunt and even had his own egg hunt at Mimi and Pops house!!!!! What a wonderful time we all had hence Jackson and Addison crying as we left and Haley refusing to get in the car!!! Thank you for having us Mimi and Pop we had a fun week and Happy Easter!!!
