Addison is 5 Months Old!!!!

Addison is 5 months old!!!!  And its a good thing I took the pictures when I did because shortly after Jackson was sick with his usual cough and sinus infection and he took down our whole family even poor Addison got sick again and Mimi did too!!!  So sorry Mimi!!!  So here are some of the things Addison is doing a 5 months old!!!!  Addison is a pretty happy baby but she is always happy when she is being held!!!  She does not like to be put down at all she would prefer for me to hold her all day long (I mean let's be honest who wouldn't like to be held all day long I would too) which of course I love to do since she won't be little forever however as you know circumstances arise and it is just not possible to do 24/7!!!!  So when I do put her down she is not a happy camper and she usually screams when I leave her sight!!!!  Addison also just started rolling from her back to her tummy yesterday June 26th!!!  And she is quickly becoming a pro rolling all over the place!!!!  She loves to eat rice cereal and she is not a huge fan of carrots she eats them but then kind of gives a look of disgust which is hilarious!!!  And Jackson is always great entertainment for Addison as he is for all of us however Addison especially thinks he's funny and enjoys watching him!!!  Addison has also perfected her stare down to people she doesn't know!!  She used to give smiles to anyone that talked to her but within the last few weeks she is becoming very stingy with her smiles and will just stare at someone she doesn't know when they talk to her like who are you and why are you talking to me!!!   And little Addison is still not entirely fond of the car but it seems to maybe be getting slightly better or so I would like to think!!  Addison is still an ok sleeper she sometimes sleeps until 5am then sometimes she wants to snuggle with mommy at 3am and she still loves to be swaddled in her rock and play sleeper!!!  I know I know it is time to make the transition to the crib I have just been enjoying the sleep I do get for now!!!  :-) Enjoy the pictures of our sweet Addison!!!!!!! Happy Father's Day!!!

Happy Father's Day to my wonderful dad and to Ryan who is an amazing husband and dad to Jackson and Addison!!!  I know I am speaking for Ryan but I think its safe to say he had a great Father's Day!!  It started out with Jackson bringing him a menu of what we could make him for breakfast in bed which Jackson was super excited about!!! Jackson wanted pancakes so he decided daddy should have pancakes too!!  So pancakes it was!!!  Then Ryan opened his presents and Jackson gave his special gift which was a fun questionaire in which Jackson answered all the questions by himself about his daddy!!  It was too cute and the best answer was when I asked Jackson how old Daddy was he replied 96!! We all got a good laugh out of that one!!!  Then we had a fun filled family day at the park and had a great time!! Jackson played hard and made lots of new friends (as always) and Addison went in the swing for the first time and loved it!!!  Then Ryan had a nice steak dinner and we finished off the night enjoying a fathers day cookie cake!!!  Hope Ryan had as good of a day as we had with him!!!!  Thank you Ryan for always working so hard for our family!!!  And the only thing that would have made it better would have been to spend it with my dad too!!  Missed you dad but hopefully we can be together next year!!! Love to you both!!!!!!

Jackson's 5 year Stats!!

Jackson had his 5 year well visit appointment with Dr. Anton the end of April however I am a little late posting it as I was waiting for the doctors office to give me his percentages and they kept forgetting as did I so this last time we went when Jackson was sick I finally got them!!!  Jackson had a great 5 year appointment and is growing like a weed!!!  He was 40 pounds which is in the 36th percentile and his height is 44 inches which is in the 70th percentile!!!  Looks like he will be tall and lean!!! Jackson had to get a shot so he can start kindergarten in the fall which he was SO not pleased about but we tricked him into it and it was done before he knew it and said it was no big deal!!! What a brave little boy!!! Enjoy a fun picture of our little 5 year old who is very excited to start kindergarten!!!  I on the other hand had to enroll him last week in his new school and it brought tears to my eyes!!!  It will be an adventure for us all!!!!

A Little Giggle!!

Addison has the cutest little giggle and I finally caught it on video so I had to share!!!  Her little laugh is contagious and seems to make everyone around her smile!!!!!  She is such a sweet little girl and she has everyone in this household wrapped around her finger and I am pretty sure she knows it!!!!  Hope her giggle brightens your day as it does all of ours!!! The same day we saw Dr. Anton we started Addison on rice cereal and she loved it (I'm posting a little late again our life has been a little hectic these days!)!!!  She ate one whole bowl and then slept almost 7 hours that night then after that she hasn't slept that well again!! I think she likes to tease me with sleep!!!  Just like her brother did!!  And Jackson has even been a great big brother helping me feed Addison!!!  Jackson just loves that she is eating real food and that he can help me feed her!!  And I can't tell who is more excited when I bring out the rice cereal Addison or Haley!!  Seems Haley has a whole new liking for Miss Addison since she realizes they are going to be best "food" friends soon!!!!  SO it seems everyone is excited for Addison to be starting solid foods!!! Addison's 4 month Stats!!!

I took Addison to see Dr. Anton last Wednesday for her 4 month appointment!!  Since Addison was sick when she turned 4 months she was a little overdue for this appointment but the way I see it she is still in her 4th month so thats all that matters!!!  She was such a cute and happy little girl during her appointment well until she got a shot that is :-( Dr. anton said she was doing great and growing like a weed!!!  He also said we could start Addison on some rice cereal!!! Yay!!!!  Her height was 24 inches which put her in the 24th percentile and she weighed 13 pounds 6 ounces which is in the 29th percentile!!!!  She is getting so big and giggles and smiles all the time!!!  And another event this week was that Eucaris's daughter was in the hospital :-( but she's doing better thank goodness!  So I had the pleasure of bringing Addison with me to work since Jackson was having a blast at Mimi and Pops (Thank you Mimi and Pop!)!!  It was a lot of work bringing Addison along but she was SO good and I enjoyed having her with me and everyone in my offices were thrilled to meet her!!! They all just fell in love with our sweet little girl we have been talking about for the last year!!!!  Enjoy a few pictures of sweet little Addison!!!
