The Lossius Family: Hilton Head 2015!!

This post is a few weeks overdue but it has been hectic since we returned from Hilton Head but better late than never!! Ryan had a trial that hadn't settled yet so he wasn't going to be able to go to Hilton Head. So if we still wanted to go that left me taking two kids on a 12 hour total road trip by myself. However the reward for making the trip was us spending 4 days with one of our favorite families The Crowleys!! OH I debated and thought YOU ARE CRAZY many times and at one point Saturday I told Ryan no we are not going to go. But I just couldn't stop thinking about all of the fun vacations Kristina and I went on together as kids and the memories we still laugh about and that I wanted our kids to have the same! SO the Saturday night at 9pm before we were suppose to leave Sunday morning I made the decision that we were going!! The kids were thrilled and promised they would behave!! SO we packed up and hit the road first thing Sunday morning! It was actually not a bad drive we had fun singing and they watched lots of movies and were VERY good for me!! We arrived around lunchtime and headed straight to the beach!! The kids all had a blast!!! They picked up right where they left off!! They truly enjoyed each other!! The boys were like the three musketeers and the girls were two peas in a pod!! It was the sweetest thing!! Monday Kristinas husband David had to leave for a work trip so it was Kristina and I and 5 kids and I am not gonna lie some cocktails too!! A GREAT time doesn't even come close to describing the incredible time we had! We went to the beach everyday the kids swam in the ocean and built sandcastles and ran and played!!! We just love the beach so it was the perfect place for us to spend our last few days of summer!! Then after the beach the kids would swim in the pool. One day it rained so we went to Salty Dog for lunch, it was delicious and the hush puppies were to die for!! We kept them going and wore them out!! The girls were SO cute playing together everyday and Addison was obsessed with one of Abbys babies and Abby was so kind to share! The boys rode bikes and made up games and just got along so well!!! A HUGE thank you to Kristina and David for having us we had the BEST time and made memories that will last a lifetime!! The goodbyes were tough on us as we left and Jackson said "see you next year" and I teared up wishing we lived closer to these amazing friends of ours!! Love you guys and can't wait to see you again!! Hopefully very soon!!! xoxo
