The Lossius Family: Keys Trip 2014!!!

Our Keys vacation was just amazing this year!!! It was filled with fun and laughter and of course a little bit of lobstering!!! We went snorkeling every day and yes I said we!! I dove most of the time as well because as Pop said I had to set a good example for Jackson although I actually really enjoyed it this trip!!! It was so fun to snorkel with Jackson and see him just amazed by all the sights. Jackson got to see a few sharks up close that was quite the experience!! Two were nurse sharks which didn't scare us too much but one was what Pop thinks was a Caribbean Reef Shark and that was just plain concerning!! It was cruising while we were diving at a protected reef called Loe Key and oh boy was it BIG like 8 ft big!!!! Jackson and I were almost walking on water to get back to the boat!! Of course daddy and Pop hung out to watch it!! Jackson loved every minute of snorkeling and diving and he even dove down 7-8 feet to pick up a shell!! I was so so proud of him!! Then we tried to have him get a lobster. I tickled the lobster out and gave Jackson the net to go get the lobster but he just couldn't get it!!! I will bet next year will be his year!!!! And he was even on board with ONE MORE SPOT POP!! Pop always wants to go to one more spot and Jackson was right there with him so his nickname is ONE MORE SPOT POP!!!! Addison had a blast too!! She loved going out on the boat and watching us snorkel except of course when she was exhausted then we had full meltdown mode which is to be expected!! Addison enjoyed the sandbars and the pool Mimi and Pop put up for Jackson and Addison!! And Addison was definitely curious about those lobsters but didn't want to get too close!! And Ryan and I even got a night away to Key West! Thanks Mimi and Pop!! We bar hopped in Key West and hung out with Lauren and Rob who were there for a wedding but unfortunately couldn't join us for lobster season! Next year!! It was a super fun way to end July and spend my birthday!! We are looking forward to our next trip to the Keys!!! Thank you Mimi and Pop for having us it was SO MUCH FUN and we miss you already!!!
